Applications are invited from eligible candidates for admission to PhD in Mathematics programme at the Belur Campus for the academic year 2026-2027.

Eligibility
- MSc in Mathematics Students who have secured 60% or more till the end of their penultimate year of masters’ level studies may appear.
- Applicants must also satisfy at least one of the following conditions:
- Qualified for National Board of Higher Mathematics (NBHM) Junior Research Fellowship
- Qualified for CSIR/UGC-NET Junior Research Fellowship
- Qualified for DST-INSPIRE Fellowship (the candidate must hold a valid provisional/final selection letter at the time of interview)
- Holder of any other national-level fellowship (e.g. NFSC, NFST, NFOBC, NFPWD, or equivalent) — such candidates should confirm with the department/admission committee whether their fellowship qualifies for this route

- Upload Documents: Upload necessary documents (photo, mark sheets, certificates etc.).
- Download Sumary & Receipt: Save the application summary and fee receipt after payment.

Admission Process:
Shortlisted candidates will be called for an offline interview.
NOTE: Only full-time scholars will be admitted for the PhD programme. No application for part-time PhD will therefore be entertained.
