Title: Exotic Phenomena in 4-manifolds
Abstract
4th dimension is the first where there is a discrepancy between smooth and topological categories. Such occurrences are captured broadly under the umbrella of the term ‘exotic’. In this talk, we will survey some of the recent results in exotica on 4-manifolds and discuss some open conjectures.
